Some color ideas
Three color ideas for this picture. I think I'm leaning towards the nocturne or night color scheme. It seems to be more unified than the sunny day sketch. Maybe a white raven instead of a black one? Any feedback out there?
the one with happy, cheery, day colors. It is for the parents. Unless you put like fireflies or glowing flowers in the night scene to make it super happy too lol.
Thanks for the feedback Kendra. After careful thought and making two more more finished sketches for both color schemes, I think I will stick with the evening scheme as it seems more magical and atmospheric to me. The glowing fireflies can be substituted for lights in windows and street lamps! Also in terms of contrast and unity the children are emphasized much more in the "cooler" scheme.
