This isn't my favorite painting. But I did learn a lot doing it. A bit murky in color.. anyway.
I hope to get out and do some painting directly from life the next few days. Nothing like direct observation to strengthen the skills and I really need it right now.
I also have a commission to start on and I'm excited to get going on that.
More soon. ( Not that anybody out there is really tuning in here! )

Great job, Dave! I love the blue shadows on the fawns to the right and the blue light coming from the passage beyond. It really adds to the chilling atmosphere.
